ABTRACT

2015 : Induction of Rubber Microshoots in the composition of Medium and different genotypes supervised by
Luthfi A. M Siregar and Eva SartiniBayu. The aimed of the
research to determine the best genotypesfor shoot induction of rubber tree(Hevea brasiliensis
Muell. Arg.) from node explants in the composition
of medium. The research was carried out
in the Microccuting Laboratory, PT.
Perkebunan Nusantara III Kebun Gunung Pamela Tebing Tinggi, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia,from October to
Desember 2014.
The research used completely
randomized design with two factors is genotypes with number of collections
consist of four
levels ; genotype
25; genotype 04;
genotype 63; genotype 91 while the medium with combination
of growth regulators consist of six levels
; MS + BAP 0,5 mg/l + NAA 0 mg/l; MS + BAP 1 mg/l + NAA 0 mg/l; MS + BAP 1,5 mg/l + NAA 0,1 mg/l; WPM + BAP 0,5
mg/l + NAA 0 mg/l; WPM + BAP 0,5 mg/l +
NAA 0,25 mg/l; WPM + BAP 0,5 mg/l + NAA 0,5 mg/l with five replications. The results
showed that genotypes not gave significantly to all parameters. The medium with
combination of growth regulatorsgave significantly different onnumberof shoot induction, total shoot and
shoot length. Interaction of genotypes and
medium with combination of growth regulators
have no significantly to all parameters. The medium of MS + BAP 0,5 mg/l +
NAA 0 mg/l was the best medium to
induction of microshoot rubber.
